Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks for reconstruction programming
  • Conduct project reviews, impact assessments, evaluations and lessons-learned workshops
  • Train and mentor staff and enumerators on monitoring and evaluation methodologies
  • Monitor programme risks and support project risk management actions
  • Coordinate quantitative and qualitative monitoring with IOM units, partners and UNCT members
  • Draft monitoring reports and help use findings in public information materials
  • Analyse and share monitoring findings for knowledge management
  • Document gaps, lessons learned and improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in international relations, political or social sciences, business or public administration, law or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with four years
  • Experience in project or strategy conceptualisation, development, monitoring, reporting and evaluation
  • Experience designing and delivering capacity-building activities
  • Experience liaising with governmental and diplomatic authorities and national or international institutions
  • Experience understanding internal and international migration issues in the country and region
  • Experience organising consultations, workshops and seminars with high-level stakeholders
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
