Responsibilities

  • Support RMM projects and activities to develop or strengthen refugee resettlement programmes
  • Review and endorse country office projects with resettlement or movement components outside the European Economic Area
  • Develop project proposals, appeals and response plans for new and ongoing projects
  • Supervise and guide staff on RMM strategy, institutional policies and project implementation
  • Coordinate internally with IOM divisions and units on meetings, summaries, talking points and inputs
  • Support implementation and monitoring of the RMM Strategy
  • Contribute to RMM communications and public information products including presentations, press notes and newsletters
  • Prepare for and participate in external events with UN agencies, states, intergovernmental bodies and the private sector

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Political or Social Science, International Relations, Law or a related field with two years of relevant professional experience, or bachelor's degree in those fields with four years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in project development or working for an organisation that provides humanitarian assistance
  • Experience in research, writing, outreach, data collection and analysis and communications
  • Experience working in a multicultural setting
  • Fluency in English
