Responsibilities
- Support RMM projects and activities to develop or strengthen refugee resettlement programmes
- Review and endorse country office projects with resettlement or movement components outside the European Economic Area
- Develop project proposals, appeals and response plans for new and ongoing projects
- Supervise and guide staff on RMM strategy, institutional policies and project implementation
- Coordinate internally with IOM divisions and units on meetings, summaries, talking points and inputs
- Support implementation and monitoring of the RMM Strategy
- Contribute to RMM communications and public information products including presentations, press notes and newsletters
- Prepare for and participate in external events with UN agencies, states, intergovernmental bodies and the private sector
Requirements
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Political or Social Science, International Relations, Law or a related field with two years of relevant professional experience, or bachelor's degree in those fields with four years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in project development or working for an organisation that provides humanitarian assistance
- Experience in research, writing, outreach, data collection and analysis and communications
- Experience working in a multicultural setting
- Fluency in English
