Responsibilities
- Serve as regional focal point for OHCHR engagement on economic, social and cultural rights
- Develop evidence-based policy papers, legal briefs and advocacy messaging
- Monitor implementation of workplans and international human rights instruments
- Engage governments, NHRIs, civil society and UN partners on projects, training and capacity-building
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in law, political science, international relations, social sciences, economics, data science, public policy or related field, or first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in human rights, political affairs, international relations, law, economics, public policy or related area
- At least five years of experience in cultural rights
- English at UN Level III
