Supports the Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate with legal and policy research, country profiles and analytical products on terrorism and counter-terrorism. The internship also contributes background notes, talking points, meeting materials, visual aids and records for briefings, missions and events.

Responsibilities

  • Research terrorism and counter-terrorism trends for analytical products
  • Draft and update country profiles and background documents
  • Prepare background notes and talking points for meetings and missions
  • Support planning of briefings, roundtables, seminars and other events
  • Prepare meeting documentation, infographics and visual aids
  • Attend meetings and conferences and draft summaries of discussions

Requirements

  • Enrollment in or completion of a graduate programme, or enrollment in or completion of the final year of a bachelor’s programme
  • Field of study closely related to the legal internship
  • English fluency
