Responsibilities
- Carry out system and hardware maintenance including network monitoring and system protection
- Monitor technology reliability, analyse data and produce reports to recommend IT solutions
- Resolve escalated IT queries and provide technical support to WFP staff
- Deliver technical training to end users on commonly used technology and systems
- Guide and train junior colleagues in delivering IT support services
- Support coordination of new application implementation and produce end-user documentation
- Coordinate installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems and equipment
- Coordinate a team of IT staff and follow emergency response procedures as required
Requirements
- Completion of secondary school education
- Six or more years of progressively responsible relevant work experience
- Fluency (level C) in English
- Experience coordinating and managing implementation of technical projects
- Experience supporting technical leadership in video conferencing and connectivity services
- Experience in reporting, drafting SOPs and technical documentation
- Experience managing IP networks, telecommunications and videoconferencing systems
- Experience engaging and managing third-party service providers and vendors
