Responsibilities
- Support desk-based literature review on smuggling of migrants
- Collect and analyse information online to inform research outputs
- Support development of research methodologies and tools, including key informant interview questionnaires
- Contribute to drafting and reviewing research documents in multiple UN official languages
- Support preparation of concept notes, agendas and participant lists for GEMS expert group and steering committee meetings
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Migration Studies, Political Science, Security Studies or a related field
- First-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience accepted in lieu of advanced degree
- Minimum two years of relevant progressively responsible professional experience in research and/or communication
- Fluency in English
