Responsibilities

  • Support quantitative and qualitative research projects and activities
  • Identify metrics and collect data from official and non-official sources
  • Analyse data on housing, land use, mobility and other sustainable urbanisation sectors
  • Prepare presentations on collected and analysed data
  • Contribute to evidence-based policy advice on sustainable urbanisation
  • Support database development, partnerships, networks and global event preparation

Requirements

  • Enrolment in a graduate programme, enrolment in the final academic year of a first university degree, or recent graduation with a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or equivalent degree
  • Computer literacy in standard software applications including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Degree or studies in urban studies, international development, urban planning, political and international affairs, environmental sciences or management, geography, econometrics, economics or a similar relevant topic
  • Previous academic or professional experience in quantitative research with basic understanding of statistical methods
  • Previous academic or professional experience in the urban development sector
  • Fluency in oral and written English

  • Expected duration: six months
  • Interns work five days per week and 35 hours under staff supervision
