Infrastructure Intern

Supports UNOPS infrastructure projects in Brazil by helping review designs, prepare technical documents, follow construction activities and identify architectural and engineering solutions under close technical supervision.

Department: Southern Cone Multi-Country Office

• Support development, preparation, coordination and review of urban, architectural and complementary project plans
• Help prepare and review terms of reference, specifications, tender documents and technical manuals
• Support all stages of tender processes for project or works contracting
• Prepare reports and technical studies to identify architectural and engineering solutions
• Support project and works administration routines, including schedules, meetings and process follow-up
• Accompany engineering inspections of systems, structures and facilities during design and works
• Support research in architecture, urbanism and engineering and provide technical assistance to partners

• Current study in architecture and urbanism or civil engineering from the eighth semester, or graduation in one of those fields within the last three years
• Fluent Portuguese, basic Spanish and basic English
• Availability to work in person in Foz do Iguaçu

• Internship duration is 12 months
• Activities are carried out in person in Foz do Iguaçu
• Computer equipment and peripherals are provided
