Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day delivery and performance of infrastructure projects
  • Coordinate donors, partners and beneficiaries against contractual commitments
  • Manage project outputs within agreed time, cost, scope, quality, risk and benefit tolerances
  • Define technical and design requirements for infrastructure works
  • Oversee infrastructure quality assurance and risk management in multi-stakeholder contexts
  • Support procurement strategies, contract management and field missions
  • Prepare project documents, reports and briefing materials for stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, water, electrical, mechanical, structural or another applicable engineering discipline with seven years of relevant experience, or master's degree in one of those disciplines with five years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience implementing and managing infrastructure projects such as roads, dams, bridges, irrigation, health, windmills, solar power or ports in developing countries, post-conflict environments or emergency contexts
  • Experience defining technical and design requirements
  • Knowledge of infrastructure quality assurance methodologies and tools
  • Experience managing infrastructure project risks in a multi-stakeholder context
  • Fluency in English and French
