Immigration and Border Governance Expert Consultants - Arabic Speakers

This roster identifies Arabic-speaking experts to support IOM border governance projects across the MENA region through technical assistance, training design, assessments and policy guidance for state institutions and border-management stakeholders.

Department: Immigration and Border Governance Regional Thematic Unit

• Provide technical assistance for IOM immigration and border governance projects across the MENA region
• Conduct needs assessments and contribute to border-management diagnostics
• Develop training curricula, strategy papers, guidelines and technical tools
• Design and deliver consultations, workshops, conferences and tailored capacity-building activities
• Support work on border controls, identity management, irregular migration, regular migration and training methods
• Coordinate assignments with project managers and the regional thematic unit

• University or relevant vocational academy degree with at least eight years of relevant professional experience in immigration and border management, forensic sciences, international law or a related field
• Professional or academic experience in at least one listed border governance component
• Professional experience working with relevant governmental institutions in the MENA region
• Excellent oral and written Arabic and English

• Roster members may be engaged for short- or mid-term project activities
