Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance for IOM immigration and border governance projects across the MENA region
- Conduct needs assessments and contribute to border-management diagnostics
- Develop training curricula, strategy papers, guidelines and technical tools
- Design and deliver consultations, workshops, conferences and tailored capacity-building activities
- Support work on border controls, identity management, irregular migration, regular migration and training methods
- Coordinate assignments with project managers and the regional thematic unit
Requirements
- University or relevant vocational academy degree with at least eight years of relevant professional experience in immigration and border management, forensic sciences, international law or a related field
- Professional or academic experience in at least one listed border governance component
- Professional experience working with relevant governmental institutions in the MENA region
- Excellent oral and written Arabic and English
