The HR Business Partner advises management across an assigned portfolio and coordinates recruitment, benefits, employee relations, workforce planning and HR policy implementation for UN Women.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of HR policies, guidelines, procedures and standard operating procedures across the assigned portfolio
  • Guide managers and staff on recruitment, contracts, benefits, entitlements and separations
  • Coordinate recruitment and selection processes for staff and affiliate personnel
  • Oversee benefits, entitlements, contracts and related HR administrative matters
  • Support workplace relations, talent management and performance management initiatives
  • Coordinate learning and development activities within the assigned portfolio
  • Analyse recruitment trends and prepare HR reports for management and donors

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in human resources, business administration, psychology, organisational development, public administration or relevant social sciences, or a first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in human resource management
  • Experience in recruitment and selection, benefits administration and workplace relations
  • Minimum 3 years of international work experience
  • Experience using computers, office software, spreadsheets, database packages and web-based management systems
  • Fluency in English is required
