The assistant delivers ICT, network, information security and physical security support for UN Women Ecuador, maintaining systems, assets, emergency equipment and user services.

Responsibilities
- Implement ICT strategies, standards, work planning and asset management
- Provide first-level technical support and maintain ICT equipment and applications
- Monitor network performance, user access, backups and information security measures
- Support telecommunications, intranet, collaborative platforms, meetings and training
- Maintain office safety, security and emergency equipment readiness
- Support security plans, risk monitoring, incident response and inter-agency coordination
Requirements
- Completion of secondary education is required
- Cisco Certified Network Engineer and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or Microsoft Certified Professional certification are required, or must be obtained within six months
- At least five years of experience in network administration and use of hardware, software and telecommunications facilities is required
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required
