Responsibilities
- Lead certified, interim, final and ad hoc donor financial reporting
- Establish donor reporting schedules, procedures and quality assurance mechanisms
- Lead financial closure of projects and resolution of earmarked fund balances
- Oversee fund monitoring, prefinancing reviews and corrective actions
- Manage revenue recognition, accounts receivable and contribution records
- Lead, coach and oversee the geographically dispersed Awards Management Unit
- Coordinate audit responses and strengthen financial controls and business processes
Requirements
- Master's degree in finance or accounting, or a professional accounting qualification
- At least seven years of extensive progressively responsible experience in financial management, accounting, donor reporting or grants management
- At least four years of supervisory experience
- Experience leading financial operations and managing multiple concurrent workstreams
- Experience supervising teams and managing staff performance
- Experience developing financial policies, internal controls and standard operating procedures
- Experience with financial ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud
- Fluency in English
