Responsibilities
- Support deployment and operational monitoring of mobile health teams in earthquake-affected communities
- Map health facilities, service points, temporary camps and referral mechanisms with health and humanitarian partners
- Track public-health alerts and priority events during the emergency response
- Coordinate mobile health sessions, patient referrals and community health-promotion activities
- Monitor medicines, medical supplies and basic equipment available to mobile health teams
- Consolidate and validate data for situation reports, emergency reports and information products
- Implement community-feedback and accountability mechanisms for affected populations
- Identify operational challenges, implementation risks and coverage gaps and propose corrective action
Requirements
- University degree in general medicine with three years of relevant experience, or secondary education with five years of relevant experience
- Medical degree, completion of Article 8 requirements and registration and good standing with the relevant state medical college
- Experience implementing, monitoring or coordinating health, humanitarian or emergency-response projects
- Field experience with vulnerable communities and emergency-affected populations
- Experience coordinating with health authorities, community organisations and implementing partners
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish
