Responsibilities

  • Coordinate course calendars, contact sessions, agendas and learning materials
  • Plan training sessions with mentors and FETP officers
  • Guide trainees on surveillance data analysis and system assessment
  • Mentor outbreak investigations, surveillance evaluations and epidemiological studies
  • Review trainee reports, abstracts, manuscripts and presentations for scientific quality
  • Coordinate online seminars, project plans, approvals and field implementation
  • Document FETP guidelines, operating procedures and programme reports

Requirements

  • Medical graduate
  • Completed intermediate or advanced Field Epidemiology Training Program conducted by NCDC, NIE or WHO
  • At least one year of progressive experience conducting training or workshops for public health professionals in India
  • Experience as mentor or faculty for intermediate or advanced FETP
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Only Indian nationals should apply
