Responsibilities

  • Support integrated adolescent development and gender-responsive interventions for vulnerable groups
  • Promote life skills, empowerment, leadership and meaningful adolescent participation
  • Integrate gender equality, adolescent participation and climate resilience across education, health, protection and social development programmes
  • Develop strategies and tools to improve access to safe learning, skills development and participation opportunities
  • Strengthen adolescent participation platforms and civic engagement mechanisms
  • Support adolescent leadership in community action, governance and social accountability
  • Contribute to gender-transformative programming addressing barriers affecting adolescent girls
  • Coordinate with government, civil society, youth networks and development partners

Requirements

  • Experience supporting design, implementation, monitoring and reporting of adolescent development, participation or gender equality programmes
  • Experience working with adolescents and young people on engagement, participation, leadership or empowerment initiatives
  • Understanding of gender-responsive and equity-focused programming for adolescent girls and vulnerable populations
  • Experience supporting partnerships and coordination with government, civil society, youth-led organizations, community groups and development partners
  • Spanish is required
