Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering work projects and priorities with other mission units and specialists
- Manage electrical power generation, distribution and maintenance services
- Oversee electrical installation, operation, maintenance and repair work
- Implement construction or repair projects for buildings, facilities and electrical systems
- Manage tradesmen, junior staff and contractor personnel
- Conduct site surveys and load assessments for power generation and distribution requirements
- Supervise maintenance of generators, transfer switches, transformers, switchgear, panels, cabling and protection systems
- Monitor reports, stock levels, work orders and performance for electrical installations and equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least ten years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, including installation, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical power generation and distribution systems
- English proficiency at UN Level II
