Responsibilities
- Coordinate with regional offices, departments, divisions and units across the Operations Pillar
- Track workplans, initiatives and emerging needs across operational portfolios
- Prepare the Deputy Director General's participation in headquarters, field and external events
- Gather and consolidate operational and programmatic updates for strategic oversight
- Analyse risks, trends and emerging operational needs for forward planning
- Prepare briefing notes, situation summaries, talking points, presentations and responses
- Monitor tasks and priorities assigned by the Deputy Director General
- Maintain coordination tools, trackers, correspondence records and approval documentation
Requirements
- Master's degree in political or social sciences, migration studies, international relations or a related field with five years of relevant professional experience, or bachelor's degree with seven years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in support and coordination in a fast-paced environment
- Considerable experience in agenda setting, high-level presentations and document review
- Considerable experience in policy, strategy and workplan development for multiple stakeholders
- Fluency in English is required
