Programme Administrator

Provides programme liaison, analytical and operational backstopping to UNIDO's SDG Innovation and Economic Transformation directorate, supporting planning, reporting, performance tracking and internal coordination.

Department: Office of the Managing Director, Directorate of SDG Innovation and Economic Transformation

• Prepare background materials, briefing notes and analytical summaries on Directorate matters
• Draft strategic documents, management reports, presentations, speeches and correspondence
• Coordinate and quality review inputs for corporate planning, reporting and oversight exercises
• Prepare management summaries and status reports for senior management decisions
• Maintain tracking systems, dashboards and management information tools
• Support senior management meetings, consultations and missions
• Draft internal communication materials and coordinate communication activities

• Advanced university degree in International Relations or Development, Economics, Public Administration, Industrial Development or another relevant discipline
• At least three years of relevant work experience for the recruiting office
• Ability to research and analyse information
• Fluency in written and spoken English

• Contract duration: 4.5 months with possibility of extension
• Application deadline time is 11:59 PM Vienna time
• Appointment is limited to the specified project and carries no expectation of renewal
• The Director General may appoint at a lower level
