Responsibilities
- Organise logistical and administrative arrangements for off-site and on-site STO activities
- Advise technical teams and verify scientific publication content lists
- Compile committee content for communication products
- Maintain records, contacts, databases and project administration methods
- Conduct pre-trips and advise host coordinators on meeting arrangements
- Represent the scientific committee in delegated dealings with CSO staff and NATO authorities
- Proofread and cross-check decision sheets and agendas
- Support programme-of-work budgets, travel plans and meeting documents
Requirements
- Five years of experience as an administrative assistant followed by two years in an administrative position at the same level of responsibility
- Experience operating computers, word processors and database software
- Ability to carry out complex administrative tasks independently or with minimum supervision
- Post high-school specialised education as a multilingual personal assistant or equivalent training
- Ability to take notes and write meeting reports
- Very good knowledge of one NATO official language and fair knowledge of the other
- Eligibility for NATO Secret security clearance
- Nationality of a NATO member country

- Project Linked NATO International Civilian position for three years with a six-month probationary period
- Competition is provisionally scheduled for the first or second week of October 2026 in Paris
- Normal office environment includes occasional long hours and frequent business travel abroad, including weekends
