Consultant for Technical Support to the Education Strategies

Provides technical support to UNICEF Recife education strategies by monitoring School Active Search and Education that Protects activities, systematising results and preparing technical inputs for programme teams in north-eastern Brazil.

Department: Education Section, EZ Recife

• Prepare the consultancy work plan
• Systematise UNICEF Seal deliverables in Alagoas, Paraiba and Pernambuco
• Produce reports from Recife School Active Search Steering Committee meetings
• Develop technical inputs for Education that Protects action planning
• Plan and document monitoring workshops with state education departments and Undime
• Prepare technical notes on beneficiaries reached through annual workplan actions
• Develop an advocacy roadmap for the 2027 school year pedagogical week

• Completed university degree in Education, Pedagogy, Social Sciences or a related field
• Minimum three years of professional experience in public education policy
• Fluent written and spoken Portuguese
• Skills in data systematisation and technical report writing

• Five-month consultancy between August and December 2026
• Consultant works remotely on a delivery basis and uses own equipment
• Financial proposal must include all-inclusive fees, including travel and subsistence where applicable
• Consultants are responsible for their own insurance, taxes and duties
