Overview

Conducts an exploratory study on technology-facilitated violence against women and girls in Morocco. The consultancy maps laws, actors and digital harms, leads field consultations and converts findings into practical programming priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a Morocco-specific methodology for the exploratory study
  • Review laws, policies, initiatives and programmes addressing technology-facilitated violence
  • Map institutional and civil-society actors working on technology-facilitated violence
  • Catalogue forms, platforms, technologies, affected groups and impacts of digital violence
  • Interview key stakeholders and potential implementation partners
  • Facilitate focus groups with potential beneficiaries in Casablanca and Fes
  • Propose an implementation plan organised by priority action, target group and need
  • Present findings in Rabat and finalise the study and presentation after stakeholder feedback

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in development, political science, public administration, social sciences, gender studies, sociology, international relations, monitoring and evaluation or a related field
  • First-level university degree with 2 additional years of qualifying experience may substitute for the advanced degree
  • At least 5 years of experience conducting qualitative studies, research or evaluations
  • Experience promoting women’s rights or human rights
  • Excellent command of French and Moroccan Arabic
  • Working knowledge of English
