Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the project annual communications plan
- Maintain partner visibility standards and brand compliance
- Manage relationships with national and local media outlets
- Write feature articles, press releases and results briefs
- Produce or oversee photos, short videos and infographics
- Manage project social-media channels and institutional web platforms
- Support community-awareness campaigns and train local focal points
- Organise official events and prepare press materials and speeches
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in communication, journalism, public relations, social sciences or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with two additional years of relevant experience
- French writing proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree holders require at least two years of relevant public-relations, advocacy or communications experience
Desired Criteria
- Experience with an international organisation or major development project
- Experience leading rural outreach campaigns in Chad
- Ability to make technical decentralisation and participatory-budget concepts accessible
- Advanced professional social-media management
- Basic photography and framing skills
