Responsibilities

  • Participate in child protection and youth engagement activities linked to PROSPECTS initiatives
  • Support follow-up of PROSPECTS activities by gathering partner information and joining field monitoring visits
  • Document progress, challenges and implementation updates for short donor-reporting contributions
  • Collect qualitative and quantitative information from partners, children, youth and community members
  • Liaise with community structures and local authorities
  • Develop human-interest stories, case studies, success stories, lessons learned and good practice notes
  • Contribute field observations and youth perspectives in meetings, workshops and learning sessions

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural and social sensitivity for work with partners and community members
  • Ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with grassroots community members, religious groups and youth organisations
  • Self-motivation and ability to adapt professionally in a challenging environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team of international and national personnel
  • Proficient digital skills, including Microsoft Office applications, email and internet use
  • Applicants aged 20 to 32 will be prioritised
  • Applicants should demonstrate learning-to-earning barriers in their motivation statement where relevant
