Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all stages of child protection programmes and projects
- Develop strategic plans and programme formulations for protective environments
- Manage programme implementation, monitoring and quality control of results
- Provide advisory services and technical support to governments and partners
- Build advocacy, networking and partnerships for child protection outcomes
- Lead innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
- Manage the child protection section and plans of action
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in international law, psychology, international development, human rights, sociology, social science, justice or a related field
- At least ten years of international professional experience in child protection, including managerial experience
- Experience in development or humanitarian settings
- Previous child protection experience in Small Island Developing States or the Asia-Pacific region
- Experience in donor relationships, resource mobilisation and complex grant management
- Fluency in English
