Chauffeur de clinique mobile

Drives and maintains UNFPA’s mobile clinic in Selibaby, enabling safe and regular field missions across remote parts of Guidimakha. The role follows UN security procedures, manages vehicle records and maintenance, and supports access to reproductive health and gender-based violence services.

Department: UNFPA Mauritania

• Drive the mobile clinic safely on authorised field routes
• Follow United Nations security procedures and complete mission clearances
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, roadworthiness and daily operating checks
• Record mileage, fuel use and maintenance in vehicle logs
• Report faults, perform minor repairs and coordinate maintenance
• Keep insurance, inspection and accident records current

• Secondary education
• Valid Category C driving licence or higher
• At least three years of professional off-road driving experience
• Knowledge of national security and road conditions
• Ability to undertake frequent field travel
• Excellent command of French

• Frequent travel to remote Guidimakha communities, including during the rainy season
