Responsibilities
- Design a harmonised structure for inter-linked regional social accounting matrices across six Gulf countries
- Align the regional matrix with the sectoral features of Saudi Arabia’s national accounts
- Build macro and micro regional matrices from national matrices and additional data
- Represent the trade instruments applied by Saudi Arabia in the micro matrix
- Apply appropriate estimation and balancing techniques to reconcile the matrices
- Build the 2024–2035 database required to calibrate the regional trade simulator
Requirements
- Master’s degree in applied economics with a clear focus on developing social accounting matrices and regional computable general equilibrium models
- At least five years of expertise using and developing global and regional computable general equilibrium models
- Strong knowledge of national accounts and social accounting matrix development
- Expertise applying updating and balancing techniques
- Fluency in English and Arabic
