Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the catering contract and ensure contractor commitments are met
- Verify catering staffing, skills and behaviour against contractual and service requirements
- Maintain technical specifications covering suppliers, product quality, portions and sustainable sourcing
- Ensure compliance with collective-catering sanitary regulations
- Manage kitchen and cafeteria equipment maintenance and coordinate contractor interventions
- Track catering contract financial data, purchase orders, monthly summaries and statistics
- Coordinate restaurant, cafeteria, internal event and VIP service requests
- Provide table service and manage protocol-sensitive VIP and Directorate hospitality
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience as a maître d'hôtel, chef de rang, high-volume event catering coordinator, collective catering or catering service role
- Fluent written and oral French
- Mandatory oral comprehension and expression in English
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary kitchen, collective catering, event catering and VIP table-service operations
- Knowledge of sanitary and food-safety standards
- Microsoft Office proficiency, with Word and Excel essential
- Basic security screening required
