Responsibilities
- Implement procurement strategies, policies, controls and standard operating procedures
- Organise RFQ, ITB and RFP processes and evaluate procurement submissions
- Prepare purchase orders, contracts and vendor profiles in e-procurement systems
- Consolidate procurement plans and monitor implementation for the country office and projects
- Implement supplier selection, evaluation and roster development
- Support harmonised procurement services and joint procurement opportunities with UN agencies
- Organise procurement training for operations staff, project staff and vendors
- Supervise support staff in the Procurement Unit
Requirements
- Secondary education
- Seven years of progressively responsible administrative experience with secondary education, or four years with a university degree
- Experience at national and international level
- Experience using computers, office software and web-based management systems such as ERP
- Fluency in the UN language of the duty station
- Fluency in the national language of the duty station for local staff
