Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain spatial and non-spatial project databases
  • Create and update thematic maps for planning, monitoring and communication
  • Georeference and archive parcels, community forests and landscape blocks
  • Integrate collected data into the CAFI digital platform and ensure quality
  • Train field teams on KoboToolbox, GPS and tablets
  • Support independent verification with geospatial evidence and statistical data

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in geomatics, geographic information science, remote sensing, environment or a related discipline, or bachelor's degree with two additional years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree holders must have at least two years of experience using GIS, remote sensing and database management applied to forestry, agriculture or natural resource management
