Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative and coordination support to the Chief of Mission
- Prepare and compile documents for regional, headquarters, United Nations and government counterparts
- Manage the Chief of Mission’s calendar, meetings and visitors
- Review documents for signature and safeguard confidential materials
- Prepare briefing packs, diplomatic notes and official correspondence
- Arrange travel authorisations, security clearances, itineraries and supporting documents
- Maintain mission filing systems, contact records and correspondence trackers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in international studies or a related field with two years of administrative experience, or a school diploma with four years of administrative experience
- Relevant administrative work experience
- Experience with a United Nations agency, international organisation, non-governmental organisation, company or bank
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in French
- Burundian nationality
