Youth Programme Specialist

UN Volunteer supporting UNESCO Mozambique on youth programme design, coordination and the update of the National Youth Strategy. Strengthens collaboration with the UN Youth Group, National Youth Council and affiliated youth associations to embed youth perspectives across UNESCO programming.

Department: UNESCO Mozambique

• Support planning, implementation and follow-up of youth programmes and projects
• Provide technical inputs to updating the National Youth Strategy
• Support coordination with government counterparts and youth-led organizations
• Support UNESCO engagement with the UN Youth Group and National Youth Council
• Support inclusion of youth voices in consultations and policy dialogue
• Support monitoring, evaluation and reporting on youth programme indicators
• Develop youth-focused knowledge products and communication content

• Experience supporting design, implementation or coordination of youth-focused programmes
• Experience working with government institutions, UN agencies or civil society organizations
