Macroeconomic Modeling and Fiscal Analytics Intern

Supports the Burundi macro-fiscal programme through economic modelling, fiscal-data analysis and knowledge management, contributing evidence for fiscal policy, public-finance and surveillance products.

• Run and document fiscal, exchange-rate, trade and sectoral CGE simulations
• Support literature review, specification and calibration of a small open-economy DSGE model
• Clean and analyse budget-execution data and develop fiscal diagnostics
• Develop revenue forecasts, dashboards and AI-assisted analytical workflows
• Maintain macro-fiscal databases and validated indicator registers
• Contribute analytical inputs to fiscal-policy and surveillance products
