Technical Assistant - CAD, 11

Produces architectural, structural and engineering drawings for UNRWA facilities and supports daily design-office operations in Amman.

• Prepare site surveys, schematic designs, master plans and detailed engineering drawings in AutoCAD
• Create three-dimensional presentation drawings, diagrams, charts and simple graphics
• Produce hard-copy designs and plans for supervisory review and approval
• Support division heads with daily technical and drafting operations
• Prepare drawings for remodelling existing buildings
• Produce designs and detailed drawings for housing and shelters

• Holds a post-secondary diploma in civil, architectural or structural engineering
• Has at least five years of experience in AutoCAD drawing, drafting, graphic work and three-dimensional applications
• Has experience using engineering-office equipment including plotters and drawing copiers
• Is proficient in English and Arabic at United Nations Level II
