Responsibilities
- Prepare an inception report defining the conceptual framework, methodology and work plan
- Assess Egypt’s institutional, regulatory and financial environment for diaspora remittances
- Identify gaps, challenges and investment opportunities for diaspora savings and productive investment
- Develop a tailored regulatory and institutional framework with policy reforms and strategic instruments
- Produce a phased roadmap, action plan, monitoring matrix and coordination structure
- Engage government, development, private-sector and civil-society stakeholders in the assessment
- Design and deliver mid-term and final workshops on the proposed framework and roadmap
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Economics, International Economics, Finance, Statistics, Development Economics or a related field
- At least seven years of experience in economic research and analysis
- Fluent English and Arabic
