Supports resilience programming in West Nile by coordinating multi-sector interventions, evidence generation, stakeholder engagement, workplanning and resource mobilisation across refugee-hosting districts.

Responsibilities

  • Support operationalisation of the West Nile resilience strategy in Arua Area Office
  • Coordinate technical follow-up for resilience activities funded by Irish, MCF, EU and other initiatives
  • Prepare evidence-based concept notes, project documents, donor briefs and funding proposals
  • Analyse programme, contextual and operational evidence for programme design and resource mobilisation
  • Document lessons learned and implementation models from resilience interventions
  • Liaise with partnerships, monitoring, supply chain, finance and field teams for integrated delivery
  • Engage district governments, OPM, UN agencies, NGOs, private sector actors and development partners
  • Monitor outputs and milestones, flag implementation risks and propose corrective actions

Requirements

  • University degree in Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Project Management or another field relevant to resilience programming
  • At least six years of progressively responsible professional experience in resilience, livelihoods, food systems, climate adaptation, local economic development, programme coordination or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the design, implementation and coordination of multi-sector resilience programmes
  • Proven experience drafting concept notes, proposals, donor reports or strategic programme documents based on evidence and operational learning
  • Fluency in oral and written English
