Project Associate (Infrastructure)

Supports infrastructure delivery for the Rohingya response by preparing architectural drawings, three-dimensional models and site maps, researching construction systems and maintaining project documentation for community facilities, rehabilitation works and safe camp infrastructure.

Department: Infrastructure Unit

• Prepare sketch designs and technical drawings for community-building projects using computer-aided design
• Develop three-dimensional views using modelling software
• Research construction materials, techniques and building systems to inform design decisions
• Produce maps for project areas using geographic information systems
• Collaborate with engineers and team members throughout project phases
• Gather information and documentation for project reports and presentations
• Maintain accurate and organized project records
• Apply health and safety requirements in architectural designs

• School diploma with five years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field with three years of relevant experience
• Experience using computer-aided design and three-dimensional modelling software
• Experience in construction design
• Fluency in English and Bengali

• Special short-term graded appointment of up to nine months subject to funding
• Selection may support similar appointments for 24 months
