Overview

Provides financial, logistical and administrative support to UNDP Papua New Guinea’s Forest, Climate Change and Biodiversity SRBC Accelerator, helping the project manage budgets, procurement, payments, reporting and records.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyse and present information for planning meetings, work plans and budgets
  • Create and maintain projects in Quantum, including budget revisions and project status updates
  • Provide administrative, operational and logistical support for project outputs and events
  • Coordinate procurement processes for goods, services and individual contracts
  • Process and monitor payments and track project expenditures against budgets
  • Compile information for bi-annual, financial, substantive and final reports
  • Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems for audit and record management

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences or related field, or bachelor''s degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • No professional experience required with a master''s degree, or two years of relevant administrative, finance or project operations management experience with a bachelor''s degree
  • Fluency in English and Tok Pisin
