Overview
The Programme Specialist provides technical assistance for planning, monitoring and reporting to UN Women's Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, ensuring effective application of Results-Based Management tools across the region. The role supports donor report review, capacity building for country offices, and knowledge management for the Planning, Monitoring and Reporting Unit. This position is open to Thai nationals only.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance in refining Integrated Result and Resource Framework indicators through Peer Review Group processes
- Coordinate six-monthly monitoring and annual reporting in PRISM, providing technical assistance to countries and Regional Office units
- Analyze six-monthly and annual reports, flag stagnation or financial gaps, and organize senior management dialogues
- Provide capacity building support for Regional Office units, country offices and UN Country Teams in planning, monitoring, reporting and RBM
- Ensure alignment between Strategic Notes/Work Plans and new projects per the Planning, Monitoring and Reporting Policy
- Support project appraisal as a standing member of the Regional Project Appraisal Committee
- Conduct donor report reviews and clearance, ensuring timely submission of quality reports
Requirements
- Nationals of Thailand only
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in International Development, Gender, Human Rights or other related Social Sciences; a first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience at the international level in planning, monitoring and reporting of development projects/programmes
