Responsibilities

  • Lead oversight and coordination of the UNICEF Pacific MHPSS programme
  • Provide technical assistance and capacity building to programme staff and partners
  • Support rollout of peer-support and school-based MHPSS packages
  • Build capacity of frontline service providers through training and coaching
  • Contribute to legislative and policy reform for mental health frameworks
  • Coordinate awareness-raising campaigns to reduce stigma and promote help-seeking
  • Support integration of MHPSS into pre-service teacher training curricula
  • Coordinate research and assessments on child and adolescent mental health with partners

Requirements

  • Master's degree (Advanced University Degree) in psychology, public health, social sciences, child development or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience including mental health and psychosocial support
  • Practitioner experience in child and adolescent mental health required
  • Experience delivering capacity building in low-resource or remote environments required
  • Fluency in English required
