Responsibilities
- Lead oversight and coordination of the UNICEF Pacific MHPSS programme
- Provide technical assistance and capacity building to programme staff and partners
- Support rollout of peer-support and school-based MHPSS packages
- Build capacity of frontline service providers through training and coaching
- Contribute to legislative and policy reform for mental health frameworks
- Coordinate awareness-raising campaigns to reduce stigma and promote help-seeking
- Support integration of MHPSS into pre-service teacher training curricula
- Coordinate research and assessments on child and adolescent mental health with partners
Requirements
- Master's degree (Advanced University Degree) in psychology, public health, social sciences, child development or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience including mental health and psychosocial support
- Practitioner experience in child and adolescent mental health required
- Experience delivering capacity building in low-resource or remote environments required
- Fluency in English required
