The officer manages WHO’s side of the Joint Emergency Preparedness and Response Action Plan, coordinating governance bodies and technical groups, tracking budgets, risks and workplans, supporting partner engagement and proposals, and producing reports, events and knowledge products.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate JEAP governance bodies, focal-point meetings and steering committees
- Facilitate six technical working groups and follow up their workplans
- Track programme progress, budgets, risks and mitigation actions
- Prepare partner-engagement materials, proposals and strategic decision inputs
- Coordinate service providers supporting emergency preparedness work
- Produce programme reports, events, communications and knowledge products
Requirements
- First university degree in business administration, information management, public health, epidemiology, economics, international development, life sciences or a related field
- At least two years of international programme or project-management experience
- Experience in public-health development or emergency management
- Expert knowledge of English with working French, or expert French with working English
