Responsibilities

  • Coordinate UNICEF programmes in the Marshall Islands across education, child protection, health, nutrition and WASH
  • Facilitate communication among UNICEF teams, government counterparts and partners
  • Track implementation progress and identify bottlenecks and solutions
  • Support planning, monitoring and reporting, including annual workplans and donor reporting
  • Organise coordination meetings, missions and field visits
  • Align technical consultants with programme priorities and donor requirements
  • Consolidate, analyse and present data for decision-making

Requirements

  • Background in development studies, social sciences, public administration or a related field
  • Experience in programme coordination or development projects
  • Experience working with government counterparts and development partners
  • Ability to work independently in a remote and challenging duty station
