Responsibilities
- Contribute to analysis for country programme strategies, UNCCA, UNSDCF and strategic documents
- Support operationalisation of UNSDCF and CPD priorities with partners and UN agencies
- Design and formulate country-office programmes and translate UNDP priorities into local interventions
- Oversee planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring within assigned programme areas
- Track financial resources and results-based management indicators
- Prepare donor and corporate reports and support audit follow-up
- Support partnerships with UN agencies, IFIs, government, donors, private sector and civil society
- Contribute policy advice, advocacy networks and knowledge products for national partners
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business administration, public administration, economics, engineering, environmental or natural resource management, energy-related fields, political or social sciences, or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- No professional work experience is required with a master's degree; minimum of two years with a bachelor's degree in management advisory services and design, monitoring and evaluation of development portfolios and projects
- Experience using computers, office software packages, database packages and web-based management systems such as ERP
- Fluency in Spanish and English
