Overview
Strengthens WIPO’s Brands and Designs Sector engagement with China from Geneva. The officer develops relationships with authorities and industry bodies, plans and monitors programmes promoting intellectual-property services, prepares executive briefings, supports diplomatic engagements and represents WIPO at events.

Responsibilities
- Support engagement with Member States, particularly China
- Plan, implement and monitor programmes promoting WIPO services
- Develop relationships with Chinese authorities and industry bodies
- Prepare executive briefings, presentations and speaking points
- Coordinate substantive and logistical support for diplomatic engagements
- Maintain stakeholder contacts and track follow-up actions
- Represent WIPO at national, regional and international events
- Coordinate sector delivery with registries and the WIPO Office in China
Requirements
- First-level university degree in a relevant discipline
- At least six years of relevant national and international professional experience
- Experience in international diplomacy and outreach
- Experience with cooperation programmes and policy development in China
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese
