Responsibilities
- Conduct procurement processes for IFRC CCD Indonesia and Timor-Leste
- Manage end-to-end procurement of goods and services, including quotations, comparative bid analysis and recommendations
- Coordinate delivery, receipt and stakeholder communication for goods and services
- Conduct vendor site visits for verification and sample review when needed
- Advise Malaysia Red Cross on procurement guidelines, policies or procedures when requested
- Support colleagues with procurement matters and purchase requisitions in ERP or Smart Office
- Ensure compliance with the IFRC Code of Conduct and fraud and corruption prevention policy
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and PMI staff
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field
- Four to six years of experience, including at least two years in the area of expertise
- Experience supporting local procurement processes and supplier management
- Experience maintaining procurement records and documentation
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management principles
- Understanding of compliance, accountability and internal control requirements
- Fluent spoken and written English
