Principal Investment Officer

Leads one or more private-sector infrastructure finance business lines while originating and executing AIIB investment projects. The role structures financing solutions, guides due diligence and manages internal approval processes.

• Lead one or more departmental business lines in meeting target goals
• Originate and execute investment projects
• Identify, assess and structure investment opportunities and maintain project pipelines
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through investment due diligence
• Prepare and lead client meetings, presentations, memos and reports
• Manage internal stakeholders and the AIIB project approval process
• Support departmental management in achieving targets and objectives

• Minimum 15 years of infrastructure finance experience in a top-tier commercial, investment, or multilateral development bank
• Master's degree or equivalent in business, finance, economics, or related fields
• Extensive experience structuring financing solutions across debt, project finance, mezzanine and guarantees
• Strong analytical, credit and financial modelling skills
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
