Pasantía de Apoyo al Área de Seguridad y Justicia sobre Monitoreo Judicial

Supports OHCHR work on security, justice and judicial monitoring in Mexico through case documentation, legislative tracking and preparation of materials on domestic and international human rights law.

• Support monitoring of criteria issued by the Federal Judiciary
• Track the federal legislative agenda on OHCHR priority themes
• Assist preparation of documents promoting harmonization of domestic law and international human rights law
• Support documentation of cases that may constitute human rights violations
• Assist other tasks needed to meet OHCHR objectives

• Enrolment in or completion of a postgraduate programme in law, international relations, political science or related fields, or enrolment in or completion of the final academic year of a first university degree in those fields
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is required

• Internship runs from 17 August 2026 to 4 March 2027
• Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations
• Travel, visa, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or sponsoring institutions
• Non-citizen or non-permanent resident interns may need appropriate visa and work authorization
