Operations Specialist

Provides technical and operational support for the Polio Section, coordinating finance, human resources, administration, supply and compliance so programme delivery remains effective and accountable.

Department: Polio Section

• Support effective and accountable delivery of the Polio Section programme
• Manage operational support across finance, human resources, administration and supply functions
• Ensure compliance with UNICEF policies and procedures
• Coordinate with Operations, Supply and Logistics, and People and Culture teams
• Contribute to results for children through operational planning and programme support
• Apply results-based management and project management approaches to operational initiatives

• Advanced university degree in business, finance, accounting, public administration, operations, public finance, supply chain management, human resources, information technology, international business, project management or a related field
• At least five years of relevant work experience in operations or related functional areas
• Experience in operations, facilities management, administration, supply management, contracting, logistics, ICT, human resources, financial management, procurement, risk management, compliance, donor reporting or partnership management
• Demonstrated expertise in results-based management, project management and organisational initiatives
• Strong emotional intelligence and complexity management skills
• Fluency in English
