Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate implementation of the REAP 2030 Policy Plan
  • Design partner policy processes to agree actionable priorities
  • Support policy activities shaping early warning and anticipatory action agendas
  • Coordinate multilateral policy engagement with UN, World Bank and Movement partners
  • Help regional partners build structured policy-influencing approaches
  • Lead policy processes for parliamentary champion networks and post-disaster reform opportunities
  • Design policy influence strategies through media and partner engagement
  • Coordinate REAP policy academy and policy-related capacity strengthening activities

Requirements

  • University or bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as international relations, public policy, law or environmental studies
  • Three to five years of relevant professional policy experience in the development or humanitarian sector
  • At least two years of experience in policy process development or implementation and influencing legal or policy reforms
  • Track record designing, organising and coordinating high-level convenings that result in policy, financing or joint-initiative outcomes
  • Experience with global and regional policy frameworks and mechanisms
  • Multi-stakeholder coordination experience, preferably in the development or humanitarian sector
  • Fluent spoken and written English
