Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate implementation of the REAP 2030 Policy Plan
- Design partner policy processes to agree actionable priorities
- Support policy activities shaping early warning and anticipatory action agendas
- Coordinate multilateral policy engagement with UN, World Bank and Movement partners
- Help regional partners build structured policy-influencing approaches
- Lead policy processes for parliamentary champion networks and post-disaster reform opportunities
- Design policy influence strategies through media and partner engagement
- Coordinate REAP policy academy and policy-related capacity strengthening activities
Requirements
- University or bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as international relations, public policy, law or environmental studies
- Three to five years of relevant professional policy experience in the development or humanitarian sector
- At least two years of experience in policy process development or implementation and influencing legal or policy reforms
- Track record designing, organising and coordinating high-level convenings that result in policy, financing or joint-initiative outcomes
- Experience with global and regional policy frameworks and mechanisms
- Multi-stakeholder coordination experience, preferably in the development or humanitarian sector
- Fluent spoken and written English
