National Project Coordinator, IRIS

Coordinates ILO IRIS project activities in Cambodia to expand social health protection coverage, strengthen administration, support evidence-based reforms and engage government, social partners and civil society.

Department: RO-Asia and the Pacific

• Support project workplans and implementation to extend social health protection coverage
• Ensure compliance with ILO financial and administrative procedures and timely project reporting
• Monitor national policies and developments related to social health protection
• Participate in consultations with government, employers, workers, development partners and civil society
• Prepare technical briefs, progress reports, case studies and working papers
• Organise awareness-raising events, workshops and training sessions
• Support research on coverage, adequacy, financing and administration of social health protection
• Contribute to partnership development, resource mobilisation and proposal development

• First-level university degree in economics, public health, social science or a related field
• At least two years of national-level professional experience in social health protection, social protection or health financing
• Excellent knowledge of the working language of the duty station
• Good knowledge of English
• Technical knowledge of social health protection, social protection, public health and universal health coverage issues in Cambodia

• Fixed-term technical cooperation contract for 12 months, subject to availability of funds
• Extensions depend on funding, continuing need, conduct and performance
• National Officer recruitment is subject to local recruitment and eligibility criteria
